Visiting Some Gnarly Trees

In early December I had a chance to stop by and visit Elandan Gardens on our way back from a weekend stay at Lake Crescent.   Dan Robinson happens to be around the nursery to show us around.  He definitely have some stories to tell about each tree and they were all very fascinating.  I was also on the look out for a yamadori that I can buy for myself.  This is where I bought my cascading Mt Hemlock.  Although I did not buy anything on this trip a couple of the Yellow Alaskan Cedar were interesting.  Here are some photos from his garden.

My little trees are my daily reminders of our grand connection to this beautiful and mysterious universe.
